So I was reading my scriptures the other day and I started thinking about Isaiah. Who was he? What kind of man or prophet was he? He is the most quoted prophet in all the scriptures. His words can be found repeated and used and explained in almost every book of scripture and his prophecies are some of the greatest ever made concerning Christ and the Second Coming. There are few prophets that claim to have been shown the whole history of the earth and fewer still that were allowed to write it in any detail and Isaiah is one of them. Was he a prophet of extraordinary faith that he was given such marvelous visions? or was his suffering so great that the Lord in his mercy gave him these privileges to comfort him through his trials? Of all the prophets who are known for their greatness Isaiah is not listed because no one knows who he was. All that I have ever heard is that he was considered a mad man and died a gruesome death. I can't help but stop and wonder who was Isaiah?

That's so funny. My mom and I were wondering the same thing last night. We were wondering if maybe we know him under a different name or something, but we came up with nothing. It's a mystery ! Good thought though.
